Students of the Department of “Construction Engineering” of the Faculty of Engineering of YESSENOV UNIVERSITY undergo another professional internship on the watch.
In particular, within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation between JSC “Karazhanbasmunai” (KBM) and the university, practice-oriented training of MIRASALI ZHAKSYLYKOVICH is taking place on the basis of the field of JSC “Karazhanbasmunai”.
Students, under the guidance of professionals and mentors, get acquainted with active activities in the workplace, conduct a comprehensive risk analysis in ensuring occupational health and safety, and also get acquainted with the rules of occupational safety. In particular, there is an exchange of master experience in the specialties of construction and installation work, major repairs and placement of oil wells, chemical analysis, installation of technological equipment, well research operator, etc. Mentors monitor the work of each intern individually. Under their supervision, students participate in the implementation of important projects for the field, special training modules aimed at developing individual skills.
In 2022, as part of the educational program “Kurylys”, the Council of ISLAM BEREKET ALDABERGENOV underwent practice-oriented training on the basis of the deposit of JSC “Karazhanbasmunai” and gained experience.
We are glad that the department has been given a great opportunity to study and work at such a strategically important production facility as Karazhanbas.
Interns work in shifts until the end of the academic year. It is worth noting that all conditions have been created at the field for their familiarization with production and productive work.
SOVET ISLAM, SAPASHEV HCMUTE UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY AND EDUCATION went to Vietnam on academic mobility and studied from the first autumn semester in the educational program 6B07303-Calculation and design of buildings and houses at the Department of Civil Engineering. The influence of these students was high. This academic mobility was a complex and multifaceted process, consisting of the intellectual development of students, the cultural and scientific informativeness of education, and the exchange of technological experience. The students express their deep gratitude to the university management.

On March 10, 2023, the IV competition “Best Student of the CIS” was announced, which started as part of the international project “Best Student”, organized in Astana with the support of the International Student Association. The competition was attended by winners of international, republican and regional Olympiads, conferences, projects and startups; Leaders and activists of public youth movements, members of the national team, laureates and diploma students from 7 CIS countries, including 21 universities engaged in active scientific projects, took part. At this competition, KANATOVA AKGUL ERLANKYZY, a student of the Department of Construction Engineering, KTIU named after. Yesenova, scientific supervisor, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician BRZHANOV RASHIT TEMERZHANOVICH was awarded a badge and a II degree diploma.
At the 15th Republican Disciplinary Olympiad in 2023, held at the Aktobe Regional University named after K. Zhubanov, student ARMAN RYSTY RIZAKYZY, who took third place in the subject “Building structures” in the educational program 6B07301-Construction, and his supervisor Professor BRZHANOV RASHIT TEMERZHANOVICH.

At the end of 2022, in the city of Almaty (KazGASA), a republican competition of diploma projects for graduates of architectural, construction and design specialties of the Kazakh Main Academy of Architecture and Construction of the Educational Corporation was held online. 46 universities of Kazakhstan took part in this competition. The official languages of the competition are Kazakh, Russian and English.
In this competition, 2 diploma projects were presented in the specialty “Construction” of the Department of “Construction Engineering” of the Faculty of “Engineering” of YU University.
MUSABEKOVA GULMIRA, AIBEK BEKZHANOV, BAKYTZHANOV AYTKALI were awarded a III degree diploma in the specialty “Calculation and design of university buildings and structures” (supervisor: professor, academician) ZHIENBEK UMIRZAEVICH SUGIROV.
The educational program 6B07307-Cadastre of the Faculty of Construction Engineering was awarded a certificate for taking 1st place according to the results of the rating of ОP higher educational institutions “Atameken” for 2022. This year’s result 6B07307-Cadastre, which took 3rd prize at the end of 2021, shows a constant improvement in the level and quality of ОP.
