On 14.09.2023, Yessenov University hosted a meeting of the project of the Department of Petrochemical Engineering on grant financing of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic «Application of flow deflection technologies to increase oil recovery in the Mangystau region». At the meeting, the issues of expanding the scope of scientific research of undergraduates and doctoral students were considered, since potential consumers of the expected results of this project are oil and gas producing enterprises and undergraduates and PhD doctoral students.
In order to assess the effectiveness of enhanced oil recovery technologies in the fields of the Mangystau region, close ties will be established with production enterprises, laboratory installations will be purchased within the framework of the project, as well as the further development of the educational process and the scientific potential of the university
