Student educational club “Green Energy”

“The transition to green energy, the introduction of green technologies is a growing vector of the global economy. Kazakhstan, despite the presence in our depths of huge natural resources, including hydrocarbons, intends to actively develop renewable energy sources. In our Strategy “Kazakhstan-2050” such tasks are set “, – this is how the First President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev defined the vector of energy development.

Energy is one of the most promising industries in Kazakhstan. As traditional non-renewable energy sources give way to renewable sources such as solar energy, wind, water, chemical reaction, and so on, the profession of an energy engineer in this area is becoming more and more in demand.

Therefore, in order for students to gain a deeper understanding of professional knowledge in the field of green energy, renewable energy sources, at the request of the students, in 2018, the “Green Energy” circle was opened.

The mission of the student club:

In-depth improvement of professional knowledge in the field of energy and the formation of a team of students and teachers of YESSENOV University, capable of solving various engineering and research tasks of the production level in the field of green energy, renewable energy sources in the energy sector.

Aims:

At the department of “Construction Engineering,” there is a student scientific club “Land Cadastre”. Preliminarily, at the beginning of the academic year, a work plan of the club is drawn up, agreed with the head of the department of land cadastre. The type, topic, and volume of the planned classes, the date of their holding are determined, those responsible for conducting the classes are appointed. Classes are held in the form of a seminar, presentation, round table, Olympiad, conference, etc.

The club carries out work with students of 2-4 courses of full-time education of the educational program 6В07307 “Land Cadastre”.

At the meetings of the scientific club, topical issues are considered related to the maintenance of a unified state register of real estate and state cadastral registration at the present stage, with the peculiarities of land management and other real estate objects that are in state and municipal ownership, with changes in the field of cadastral activities on the territory of the subjects and municipalities of the Republic of Kazakhstan, etc.

The frequency of classes is on average 2-3 times a month. On average, 25-30 students attend classes held in a circle.

The main results of student research are presented annually at scientific and practical conferences, competitions of scientific papers and competitions of final qualification works, scientific developments of students are reflected in scientific publications and graduate qualification works.

In scientific and practical conferences of young scientists and students in the field of training “Land management and cadastre”, bachelor students take an active part, who make reports on the selected topic of scientific research.

According to the results of scientific research of students, carried out under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Construction Engineering, articles are published in scientific collections.

The best scientific research works of students, prepared in a club at the department, participate in the competition for the best scientific work among university students.

The modern educational process, including the theoretical and practical development of the main educational program, provides that 40% of the basic information the student receives during classroom studies, the remaining 60% for independent study. Research, scientific and practical, and creative clubs in educational institutions of different levels (school, college, university) help talented and motivated young people to develop their abilities and find practical applications for them.

This makes it possible to obtain better quality knowledge, increase the level of learning and high learning outcomes of students and schoolchildren, prepare the latter for admission to universities by increasing motivation through various forms of technologies, including electronic, interactive learning.

Modern working conditions make those graduates competitive who can prove their professional versatility, the versatility of knowledge and interests, high adaptability to any working conditions, as well as high potential for self-development.
